VIDEO TRANSCRIPT | Recorded: 2025-07-15 | Verify against current system state
Abstract¶
Tutorial on adding permission sets to staff users in Salesforce. Covers navigating to Setup > Users, understanding the difference between Salesforce users and Aptify's separate user/web user model, setting role (Administration for dev team), user license (Salesforce vs Integration User), profile (System Administrator for dev team, A&P Standard User for staff), and assigning permission sets (Super Admin, Commerce Admin, Member Support, etc.). Also explains the importance of using the A&P app vs other Salesforce apps.
Key Procedures¶
- Navigate to Setup via gear icon, search for "users"
- Locate user and click to view details
- Verify/set role to Administration (for dev team)

- Ensure user is marked as Active
- Assign permission sets: Super Admin, Commerce Admin, Member Support, etc.
